ReSound recently introduced their new Alera hearing aids. The Alera hearing aids will provide wireless connectivity directly with mobile phones and television sets equipped with ReSound’s new Unite assistive listening device (ALD) accessories. The hearing aids communicate with the Unite accessories at 2.4 GHz for better transmission speeds and distance. This new technology eliminates the need for a neck loop or wires. There is the Unite TV Streamer that sends clear stereo audio from your television, stereo, computer and other audio devices while allowing you to hear other sounds around you clearly. You could carry on a conversation while hearing the television or radio with more clarity. Also available is the Unite Remote Control that allows you to change programs and the adjust volume on your Alera hearing aids.
